1. About JOY MATE

JOY MATE is a digital emotional‑support and joy‑activation app created by Kellie Pearce. It provides daily tools, meditations, emotional‑regulation practices, and uplifting content designed to support wellbeing and kindness.

JOY MATE is not a medical, psychological, or therapeutic service. It is a wellbeing and entertainment product.

2. Using JOY MATE

By accessing JOY MATE, you agree to use the app for personal wellbeing and entertainment purposes only. You must be 18 years or older to create an account.

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to access restricted areas, or interfere with the app’s functionality or copy the app.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

JOY MATE may offer:

  • monthly subscriptions

  • annual subscriptions

  • free trials

  • promotional offers

All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

When you cancel:

  • your access continues until the end of the current billing period

  • no partial refunds are provided for unused time

  • you will not be charged again unless you restart your subscription

5. Refunds

JOY MATE does not offer refunds for change of mind. Refunds may be considered only in cases of:

  • duplicate charges

  • technical errors

  • situations required by Australian Consumer Law

All refund requests must be submitted through JOY MATE website contact details.

6. Content Ownership

All content inside JOY MATE — including meditations, wording, tools, frameworks, graphics, and emotional‑support practices — is owned by Kellie Pearce.

You may not copy, share, reproduce, or distribute JOY MATE content without written permission.

7. User Data & Privacy

JOY MATE collects only the information necessary to operate the app, such as:

  • your name

  • your email

  • your age

  • subscription details

  • app usage data

  • Your data is handled according to the JOY MATE Privacy Policy.

  • JOY MATE does not sell user data.

8. Wellbeing Disclaimer

JOY MATE provides emotional‑support-entertainment  tools, not medical advice.

JOY MATE does not diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health condition. If you are experiencing distress, crisis, or mental health concerns, please seek support from a qualified professional.

9. App Availability

We aim to keep JOY MATE available at all times, but occasional interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

We are not responsible for downtime caused by third‑party services.

10. Changes to Terms

JOY MATE may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or on the website.

Continued use of JOY MATE means you accept the updated terms.
